Scribbleton aims to provide a fun and safe environment for children to enjoy their parties, and a stress-free experience for grown ups. To ensure a smooth experience, please carefully read and adhere to the following terms and conditions. By booking a party with us, you agree to these terms.

1. Booking and Payment
1.1 Deposit: A non-refundable 50% deposit of is required to secure your booking. This will be deducted from the total cost of the party.

1.2 Balance: The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days before the party date.

1.3 Payment Methods: We accept payment via credit/debit card or bank transfer.

2. Cancellations
2.1 Cancellation by Customer: If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing at least 14 days before the party date. The deposit is non-refundable. If given a minimum of 14 days notice we can reschedule your party for an alternative date, subject to availability.

2.2 Cancellation by Scribbleton: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the party due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will offer a full refund or an alternative date.

3. Party Package and Timings
3.1 Party Duration: Parties are booked for a duration of two hours. Please ensure your guests arrive on time as we cannot extend the party time.

3.2 Included Services: The party package includes the services outlined in our party information leaflet.

3.3 Additional Services: Any additional services or items requested on the day will incur extra charges.

4. Party Guests
4.1 Number of Guests: The party package includes a maximum number of children depending on the party booked. Additional guests will incur an extra charge.

4.2 Age Range: Scribbleton is designed for children aged 0-7. Please ensure all party guests fall within this age range. Older children can attend as ‘Mentors’ and will be charged at the prevailing rate. If your Mentor is a party guest and will therefore be catered for, they will be charged at the full party guest price.

4.3 Supervision: Parents or guardians must supervise their children at all times. Scribbleton staff are not responsible for supervising children.

4.4 Siblings: Siblings who are not party guests are welcome to attend, but must be booked into the session at the general entry price in advance. Any siblings/guests not booked are not guaranteed entry due to strict capacity limits.

5. Health and Safety
5.1 Medical Conditions: Please inform us of any medical conditions or allergies that party guests may have.

5.2 Allergies: All food-handling staff are allergen and food hygiene trained, but as food is prepared in a kitchen where allergens are present, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergens in any of our food or drinks.

5.3 First Aid: Our staff are trained in first aid and will provide assistance in case of an emergency.

5.4 Code of Conduct: We request that all guests behave responsibly and follow Scribbleton’s Rules of Play. We reserve the right to ask any guest to leave if they do not adhere to these rules.

6. Liability
6.1 Damage: The customer is responsible for any damage caused to the centre or equipment by party guests. Charges for repairs or replacements may apply.

6.2 Personal Belongings: Scribbleton is not responsible for any lost or stolen personal belongings.

7. Decorations and Set-Up
7.1 Decorations: You're welcome to bring your own decorations (excluding confetti, glitter or tape on painted walls). Please speak to us in advance so we can accommodate your set-up plans.

7.2 Set-Up Time: Access to the party area is available no more than 15 minutes before your party start time.

7.3 Tidy-Up: Please remove any decorations you’ve brought with you at the end of your party.

8. Food and Cake
8.1 Outside Food: Only food provided by Scribbleton may be served during the party, except for birthday cakes and specific allergy-safe items discussed with us in advance.

8.2 Your Cake: You may bring your own cake but it must remain within the private party room due to potential allergens. You are responsible for ensuring the safety of your cake for any guests with allergies or special dietary needs.

8.3 Cake Storage: We’re happy to store your birthday cake if needed, but cannot accept responsibility for any damage or issues that arise while it’s in our care.

8.4 Leftovers: Any remaining food may be taken home at the end of the party. We are unable to store or refrigerate food after your party ends.

9. Photography and Social Media
9.1 Photos/Videos: You are welcome to take photos during the party. Please be mindful of other guests’ privacy.

10. Behaviour and Expectations
10.1 Respect for Staff: Our team is here to make your party run smoothly – we ask that all guests treat staff with kindness and respect.

10.2 Disruptive Behaviour: In the unlikely event that behaviour from guests causes disruption or risk, we reserve the right to intervene and, if necessary, ask those involved to leave.
